My PodBrix order shipped!
Last month I had greatest stroke of luck and was able to secure an order for the new “Young Woz and Jobs Playset” from Podbrix.com.
For those of you that don’t know, PodBrix (not affiliated with Apple® or LEGO®) has been making collectible sets using events in Apple history as the theme for each set.
Back to the big story. Only 300 of these highly collectible sets were made! This prompted a flurry of LEGO® and Apple® fans to visit their site when the item was launched, needless to say, crashing the server by the invading hordes. Within seconds the server began responding slower and slower, and in the end crashed and was rendered useless. Collectors, still determined, continued to try to secure an order. It was during that time I somehow managed to get the set added to my shopping cart and submit my payment; however, I wasn’t out of the woods yet. I wasn’t sure if my order was successfully submitted and if I would actually receive my order. This is why I didn’t report anything on my site. Until now.
Last night I received an email stating that my order had shipped. WOO HOO! Now the waiting game begins to receive it.
